Some people may say that a world reaching conspiracy dedicated to controlling the world through ensuring stupidity and the herd mentality has no place in religion.

We say; Think about it, genius.

Isn't it comforting to know you're loved by God, and that your enemies, and those with thoughts or lifestyles you don't understand are not? Doesn't it take all the effort out of having to understand different points of view? You don't have to think about any of your actions, you don't have to question any of your opinions, you just need to give up a couple of hours every Sunday. Then you can cruise through the next week content and secure in the knowledge that anyone who looks at you sideways, anyone who questions your moral superiority, will learn not to doubt you, will be punished for daring to think themselves your better.

Religion is straightforward, simple - You're meant to be a docile conservative. You aren't to be a freak. You're to look like everyone else - where everyone else shops and eats and hangs out, you follow.

A higher power does your thinking, tells you who to associate with, what to believe, how to spend your money, who to love, who to hate. Hell, it may as well be us as God - at least we'll let you watch porn...
